Betty Skelly: Hi Kara, been awhile I did not come here. I was busy, we went back to FL again and we got lots of sunshine. We missed the flood here in Northwest but I am thankful that our house did not sunk. We live in a hill and the house was built 1 foot up the ground. I called my friend if we have flood but then it is only at the bridge about 2 miles away from my home. Glad everything went ok. How are you? Got a new book working again huh! cool!

The Painting Saga Continues

Feels like a saga, anyway.  But today I almost finished the trim in the stairwell.  About 30 more minutes should do it.  Then I can start on the ceiling = .  My painter has disappeared again, and I need him to do some real high-up stuff on this stairwell.

I also wrote today.  Not sure how many pages exactly.  I did some editing, some rearranging and some cutting, and I'm up to 63 pages, or about 14,000 words.  Where is my Page-O-Meter when I need it?  I can't find the one I used to use.  Oh, well, I don't know how many pages this book should be, anyway.  It's a YA but on the mature side.  Any thoughts?

On Netflix I am watching the first season of 24.  Pretty intense.  In those scenes where the two teens are running from the kidnappers, I get so tense I feel like puking.  Have to pause the video and take a break to breathe.

More painting tomorrow!

Nothing new on the Wear-A-Note front.  I haven't been making or selling very many because I don't have the time I need to promote my store and fulfill orders, should I get any!  So I'm just kind of skating for a while.
