I have had a VERY busy day today.  I cut a carpet scrap for our closet, had to do a complex template because of all the shelves and such sticking out in odd shapes.

I went to Lowe's and bought $140 worth of stuff.  Repaired a fence (husband did most of that)  Repotted some flowers and plants ... found a Black & Decker cordless jigsaw at a garage sale for $1--it works great!  Fed the birds, cleaned the birdbath.  Wow, I am so tired.

So, here is the really bad (gross) news:  something has died under the house.  We first noticed a very slight odor a couple of days ago.  Thought it was the trash and took that out.  But the smell got stronger ... and stronger ... and pretty soon it was impossible to deny that something was dead.

Tomorrow first thing I am calling Critter Control to come out and GET RID OF IT!  God, I can hardly go to sleep thinking about it.  We can't smell it upstairs, thank God.
