Today Rob and I drove to Shreveport where I was giving a workshop on plotting to the Nola Stars writers group. Boy did we get lost. I guess my caffeine hadn't kicked in because I got on the complete wrong highway and by the time I realized my mistake we had probably added an hour ro our trip. Fortunately I'd built in some fudge time so I arrived just in time.
The workshop went well, I think. Then a group of us went to Barnes & Noble for a booksigning, where I did not sell many books, but that's how it goes sometimes.
After the long drive home, I had to pack up my pets and drive to my sister's house in Garland, and I-30 was so gridlocked that I had to meander by a different route--took forever. Now I'm getting ready for our trip to Hawaii. Crazy times.
If I don't blog for the next week, you'll know why, though I'll try to report in at least once or twice.
Thanks for reading,
Kara
