It's always hard to return to my normal life after a vacation, but I do not have the luxury of time to lollygag about. I have a deadline Oct. 15 and, since I didn't write much in Hawaii I am WAYYY behind. I set a goal of myself for 15 pages a day and ... well, okay, I didn't make it today, but I did do 10 which isn't horrible considering I'm still jetlagged.
Tonight was date night. Since we did a lot of eating out in Hawaii, we decided to do something simple (and cheap!) tonight, so we walked to a taco stand that is supposed to be to die for. Dinner for both of us was under $7 and oh, my, was it good. I had one avocado taco and two egg and potato tacos, served in fresh, hot corn tortillas. Even the rice and beans were yummy (and I can usually take or leave those). We agreed that, during pleasant weather, this place will be high on our list.
The bad news is, they only serve sweet sodas for drinks--no water, no tea, no diet Coke. We will know to bring our own beverages next time!
Thanks for visiting,
Kara
