Betty Skelly: Hi Kara, been awhile I did not come here. I was busy, we went back to FL again and we got lots of sunshine. We missed the flood here in Northwest but I am thankful that our house did not sunk. We live in a hill and the house was built 1 foot up the ground. I called my friend if we have flood but then it is only at the bridge about 2 miles away from my home. Glad everything went ok. How are you? Got a new book working again huh! cool!

No A/C!

I was working away on my book when I noticed my office seemed rather warm.  For the second time in a month, the A/C wasn't working.  Luckily my A/C repairman was able to come out right away.  (I have them on speed dial--slowly but surely they are  replacing every part that could possibly break.  After ten years of this, I almost have a new unit.)

Thankfully it was just a clogged drain line and only cost me $48.

Other than a trip to the post office, it was a quiet and uneventful day.  I got my pages written, then continued to do a final polish of the MOB book.  It seems I've been working on that book forever.  Just a few more revisions ...

I actually harvested some of my fresh cilantro today to put in my tortilla soup.  I planted a whole bunch of it, but so far only one lonely plant has come up so I've been waiting until it got pretty big before I started yanking leaves off it.  Now there is one other plant coming up.  I think maybe it needs more sun.
