Have you visited the Harlequin American Authors Blog recently?
Every month, we're giving away free books--at least one book and sometimes as many as four. All you have to do is visit the blog and make a comment, and you're in for a random drawing. Since I have a book out this month, I'm giving away one of my backlist books as part of the prize.
So please pay us a visit. (I'll be blogging there on Sept. 11 & 29, so those would be good days to visit, but you're welcome any time.)
Good writing day today. I think. It took me almost all day to finish my ten pages, but that was because I kept having to go backward and insert stuff I'd forgotten. All in all after messing with it long enough it came out okay. (I'm deep into the potentially saggy middle so I'm worried about being too boring.)
Rob and I walked to the library--it's still so hot here, I was dripping sweat. We stopped at the grocery store to buy a few necessities and something for dinner tonight. I fixed "fajita chicken" from the George Foreman cookbook, though that's a stupid name for it as it bears no resemblance to fajitas. It's just chicken with a rub, super easy. Came out a little spicy for Rob (poor Rob, having to put up with my culinary experimentation) but I liked it. I actually put a balanced meal on the table tonight--salad, brown rice and chicken. Yum.
Have a great weekend,
Kara
