My editor e-mailed me today to let me know she and the sr. editor have decided on a title for my new book.  The three-book series will be called "Second Sons," and the first book is RELUCTANT PARTNERS.  It doesn't really light me on fire, but it's not horrible and it does say what the book is about, which is something.

I did my ten pages and got a lot of work done on my big book, which is mere hours away from being ready to send.  I have one more little revision to do, then one more read-through, and it's out of here!

Tonight was Date Night, and Rob and I went to the Mexican restaurant around the corner, the name of which I can never remember.  But the food is good.  I got grilled tilapia instead of my usual enchiladas or quesadillas, because I wanted something healthy.  But of course I ate half a basket of chips, too.

Afterward we walked to Carnival for emergency groceries.  Honestly, we are so lazy!  This is the emptiest our pantry and fridge have ever been!  But as long as we have cereal, soymilk, bread, peanutbutter and cheese--oh, and coffee--we can survive.  I've been on a salad kick lately, so I bought stuff for that.
