Betty Skelly: Hi Kara, been awhile I did not come here. I was busy, we went back to FL again and we got lots of sunshine. We missed the flood here in Northwest but I am thankful that our house did not sunk. We live in a hill and the house was built 1 foot up the ground. I called my friend if we have flood but then it is only at the bridge about 2 miles away from my home. Glad everything went ok. How are you? Got a new book working again huh! cool!

Catch-up Day

  • Pages Written Today: Revamped synopsis of CATCH OF THE DAY (title will change!)

While I'm waiting for Rob to finish reading my book, I've been catching up on e-mail, cleaning up my office and regrouping, getting ready for the home stretch.  Rob will have lots of comments, questions and suggestions that I'll have to get done in a hurry to make my deadline.

I got my nails done, and then I went shopping for party favors for my table of readers at the Buns 'n' Roses tea this weekend.  (The proceeds go to a literacy program, did I mention that?  Last year we raised around $8,000.  Pretty cool.)

Please check the Harlequin American Authors blog tomorrow (Thursday), as it's my day to blog.  As usual I have many brilliant observations to make (not!).  Actually, I whine and complain.  I'm really good at that!
