It poured buckets this morning, with more thunder, and it's finally cooled off.  We opened the windows and listened to lots of screaming children playing after school.  Finally they can play outside without risking heat prostration.

I got nothing done today except to finish a cover for a new book at www.booksforabuck.com.  This is my second, secret life--I do book covers for e-books.  I don't get paid for it but I earn brownie points with my husband.  I used to be a magazine art director, and sometimes I miss using those skills, so it's nice to keep my hand in.

I was the only student in yoga today, and sadly, my teacher is going to eliminate her Monday class because attendance is so poor.  I'm going to have to find another class somewhere to attend on Monday or Tuesday.  But we had a nice class.  I asked her to do a detox class because of all the strange food and wine and margaritas I consumed over the weekend.
