For about the 15th time, the MOB book is done. I am going to read it through one more time to catch any mistakes introduced during the latest polish, and then it's going away. Really. Really this time.
I have not finished by Harlequin book, the one I'm actually getting money for (or we hope). But closing in on that one, too. I have 20-plus pages left to write.
That's pretty much all I did today. The phone didn't ring (except for that annoying guy telling me how to fix my foundation problems). I did make some awesome veggie tacos for lunch, and they were so good I had them again for dinner. They're pretty low fat because I only used a tiny bit of cheese and LOTS of herbs from my garden. I clipped a couple of leaves from my one lonely cilantro plant; now I have to wait for it to grow some more before I can cut more.
My birds have deserted me. I've hardly seen any at the feeder since we returned from Hawaii. The birdman (at the bird store) says they have plenty of stuff to eat this time of year, so they're not interested in my feeders. Personally, I think they're mad at me. I can hear them singing and calling in the yards all around me, but they won't come into my yard.
Okay, it might have something to do with the neighbor's cat who won't stay out of my yard.
Thanks for stopping by,
Kara
