The weather turned suddenly nasty today--cold and rainy. (Well, cold for us--in the 50s.)
I wrote this morning, had lovely egg salad for lunch, then performed a task I've been putting off. I called my landscape lady and hired her to do a bunch of tree trimming, taking out two stumps and a couple of mutant tree-weeds, trim up my climbing rose and get it ready for winter, spruce up the bamboo, weed my front bed, and just neaten things up in general. I thought her price was extremely reasonable--especially if her husband can fix my two broken sprinkler heads, which she said he would do for free if it wasn't something complicated.
Now, if they actually show up to work ...
Yoga was just me and the teacher. Cheryl used me as her guinea pig to try out some new exercises. She is threatening to end my Monday class because no one else shows up, but she likes it because it loosens her up for a tap-dancing class she has right after. So now she said through the end of November.
I tried to get my mother-in-law to go to yoga with me--she has been doing yoga for many years. But she claimed she thought my class would be too hard for her. I told her that it would probably be such a small class that Cheryl could tailor it to Sally's abilities, but Sally declined. I think secretly she wanted to go to bridge with Rob, anyway.
Hope your week got off to a great start ...
