I thought I finished my proposal and I sent it off to Rob for his stamp of approval--which was not forthcoming. He had problems with my heroine, just as my critique partner Vicki did. Okay, secretly I knew there was a problem, I was just hoping it was all in my head.
Rob did have some brilliant suggestions--I swear, he should hire himself out as a book doctor. So tomorrow it's back to the grindstone to finish ... again.
We took a nice long walk--it would be a sin to stay indoors on a day like today, which was picture perfect. I spent a few minutes today commenting on comments left at my Romancing the Blog column. It's fun to stir up a little innocent controversy over there and get people talking.
Oh, if you haven't read your RWR (Romance Writer's Report) there is a nice article by Ruth Kauffman on how to quit your day job, and I'm quoted. Rob is, too. Also, they ran a side bar and adapted the handout we did for our RWA workshop last summer.
Yoga was lovely, not quite as difficult as Thursday's class, which left me sore for days. You just never know what you're going to get with my instructor. I just love yoga. I can't believe it took me so long to find it.
