That was the title of today's workshop at the Mystery Writers of Dallas (quasi-chapter of MWA) given by Lori Wilde. I've heard a lot of good things about this workshop. Unfortunately Lori had some technical difficulties with her PowerPoint presentation, but even winging it she provided much useful information--enough that I forked over $20 for her workbook.
After lunch (at Texas Land & Cattle) Rob went to a martial arts tournament to cheer one his fellow Dragon School students and teachers, and I went home, checked e-mail, then went to my sister Anne's house to help her set up her new computer. We did get it working, got her onto the Internet (which was the main thing) but by the time I left we still were having problems with e-mail.
I ate my lone leftover fish taco from last night for dinner. Tonight I'm catching up on e-mail and trying to convince myself to write just one or two pages for NaNoWriMo, but so far I haven't succeeded.
I'm off to judge another contest entry, then read in bed.
Hope you're having a lovely weekend,
Kara
