Rob and I took the High Concept workbook (see yesterday's entry) to Norma's and brainstormed his new book idea over bacon, eggs, pancakes and coffee.  He's decided to write a YA fantasy for his NaNoWriMo.  We also did some brainstorming for my new romantic suspense, which is not turning out like I'd originally envisioned it.  But I came home and started methodically going through the exercises and working on my characters, mostly. The exercises are really good if you DO THEM and don't try to skip steps.

We also went for a nice walk and to Carnival to stock up on a few essentials.  We resisted the half-price Halloween candy though it was soooo tempting, especially the Sugar Babies.  I was just thinking about Sugar Babies yesterday.  (Of course, I was thinking about Slo-Pokes and Black Cows, too.  Perhaps I spend too much time thinking about food.  Ya think????
