Betty Skelly: Hi Kara, been awhile I did not come here. I was busy, we went back to FL again and we got lots of sunshine. We missed the flood here in Northwest but I am thankful that our house did not sunk. We live in a hill and the house was built 1 foot up the ground. I called my friend if we have flood but then it is only at the bridge about 2 miles away from my home. Glad everything went ok. How are you? Got a new book working again huh! cool!

Less than 100 pages to go!

Where did I walk/ride? 14101 (I swear that's what Portia the Pedometer said, but it could be I forgot to reset).

I'm on the home stretch with the final, final, final polish of TAKING DOWN THE DEVIL, the serial killer book. I should finish tomorrow, God willin' and the creek don't rise. Then I will send it off to my agent and I will finally be able to return to my sniper book and write fresh pages. I won't know how to act!

I did some artwork today. This is an original drawing that I did on the computer. I've also printed out some black-and-white ones that I'm coloring by hand. I'm going to make them both into ACEOs (trading-card-sized works of art) and Memo-Pause covers. Here is one of them:

The hand-tinted ones are prettier, I think.
